Hello - welcome to the Projectspace. Facilitating the Spinning of Plates since 12,016.
Do you have a lot going on? Find yourself spinning a lot of plates? A lot of stuff to get on with spread across multiple projects and workstreams?
If so, the Projectspace could be for you. Taking at its core the Now/Next/Later product management philosophy, the Projectspace adopts a three layered approach to activity, where Workstreams are divided into Projects, Projects are divided into Tasks, and Tasks are categorised as being Now, Next, or Later activities. And within any given project or workstream you're working on, you'll always have ongoing background tasks to be getting on with - and they need logging too. For extra ease of at-a-glance visualisation, open tasks are also displayed as a column of air traffic control Flight Progress Strips.
Of course, it's always helpful to know how much time any given task, project, or workstream is taking, whether that's for client billing, management reports and scheduling, or predicting how long a future piece of work might take based on past experience. A simple start/stop timer attached to every task allows you to log that time per task, which is then added up for each workstream and project. And since I always say I make graphs as a leisure activity, there are graphs in abundance.
